listen, i'll just tell you that i have a tumblr now that you can follow. it's like 90% pictures of shirtless dudes, so if you like shirtless dudes (and you do, don't lie to me) you can hit that shit up. i also post music sometimes, and panels/covers of old comic books that are unintentionally hilarious/sexual. soooo, yeah! and let's face it, writing is not and never has been my strong suit. so tumblr is a far better match for me because i can post what i'm really good at... shirtless dudes.

it's my birthday, i am now legal drinking age in canada and i have spent most of my night making utterly depressing playlists to retell the most tragic happenings in my life thus far.

BUT HONESTLY it's kind of fun, i don't know. i'm also unconscionably tired right now and i got FAR too much fresh air today.

also i bought two white tank tops, an off white one at H&M on tuesday, and some of those ridiculous black matte lamé leggings. they were on sale, okay? i also got Knocked Up on DVD because i tried to watch it one night on the internets (even though i'd seen it before) and it wouldn't let me watch more than 72 minutes, ffffffffffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

that is literally all that is up with my life right now

OH i also got a red velvet cupcake at second cup. it was so good i almost went into a coma.

uhh so basically i'm still awake for the sole purpose of making french toast in like an hour because i live at home and therefor cannot so much as breathe loudly at night at the risk of waking up my incomprehensibly lightly sleeping mother which will in turn cause her to go apeshit, like for real, soooo in an hour i'm going to make french toast and it's going to be so fucking delicious and then i'm going to sleep for like, 16 hours.

soo basically i have a SEVERE lack of closet space, seeing as how mine is occupied by our vast collection of inuit-made parkas (i am not kidding). so what i do is this thing where i see how many garments i can fit onto one hanger, which then goes on the back of my door. so there's like a foot of clothing protruding from the back of my door at any given time.

my only qualms were with (highlight after this, i don't wanna ruin it for anyone) rorschach splitting a guy's head with a meat cleaver which was TOTALLY unnecessary and completely unlike what happened in the comic, the weirdly shot and awkward sex scene with the porniest version of Hallelujah they could find...like seriously, it wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't filmed it in such a wide view...nobody wants to see all that shit. AAAAAND the guy sawing the guy's arms off in prison, like, couldn't you just imply that? i mean, really? REALLY? and the ending kinda goes without saying. ALSO: ozymandias' schumacher-esque nipples and weird accent. those things aside, it was pretty good. and patrick wilson is almost fiiiiine enough to make up for any missteps.

'Let the Right One In' Remake Renamed, Shooting Soon

After his successful bout with the giant creature in Cloverfield, director Matt Reeves is ready to take on young vampires in Let Me In, his remake of Tomas Alfredson's vampire film Let the Right One In. Production Weekly reports that filming is scheduled to begins this May for the film that follows Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire. Overture has slated it for release on January 15, 2010.

okay, so i'll admit that the first time i saw this collection my face was somewhere between shock and disgust, but the more i look at it, the more i think, "fuck it, this is awesome". if this is what the cro-magnon woman looked like, then by all means may she club me and drag me back to her lair. it's also worth mentioning that this collection plays to my advantage, both as someone who often looks sickly pale and feral, and as someone who may or may not own hip waders...it's like the perfect wardrobe for that inevitable phase in my life where i'll be living in the woods and chasing tresspassers away with a shotgun

UNRELATED STUFF: my mom and sister left for new york this morning and i am seething with jealousy, i dropped my jacket and hat off for dry cleaning and i have never had anything dry cleaned before so that's weird, and i'm so caffeinated right now that half of what i'm typing has 3 extra letters

this was me all day after my brother decided 1am was a perfectly appropriate time to use a power drill on the one night i was actually tired enough to sleep before 4am and on the one night where i actually NEED to sleep before then because i have to get up at 6am for work, jfc. i'm too grumpy to write about clothes anymore, fend for yourselves. i'm going to go take an angry nap.

okay, so i was very much looking forward to 3.1 Phillip Lim, because i almost always love everything, but this time...uhh... well, i heard that the hair was based off of Tao's (pictured above) and while it looks perfect on her...that wasn't so much the case for everyone else.
